Rodk ID. Some form of agate?

I am new to this forum as of today and posted this on Today's Finds earlier, but I think it probably belongs here instead.

I just started rock hounding and just found these in SW Wyoming. Are they some sort of agate (the first two photos are of the same rock). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Normally I'd say quartz chalcedony but the botryoids on the third pic look like marble/Calcite nodules I've found before. What is the hardness? Will a pocket knife scratch it?
