A few years ago I found some unusual rocks on my property. They looked like they had been altered in some fashion and I thought they might be some sort of artifact. Any opinions? I live in coastal southern California on the Palos Verdes peninsula. For most part the rocks were found on the surface or from an eroding hillside.

I'd encourage you to post these in the North American Artifacts forum. Those guys are plenty sharp down there.
