A few years ago I found some unusual rocks on my property. They looked like they had been altered in some fashion and I thought they might be some sort of artifact. Any opinions? I live in coastal southern California on the Palos Verdes peninsula. Hello John,

Welcome to TNet, and thanks for showing us your finds. The above appear to be pottery shards to me. I'm unfamiliar with the tribes & materials of your area. I'm not seeing the hand of man in several of them, but what do I know...

I'd encourage you to post these in the North American Artifacts forum. Those guys are plenty sharp down there.
