Rock run mine Maryland

Does anyone know if the Rock run mine in Maryland is part of Susquehanna state park would it be ok to pan there you can hunt and fish there so maybe I would think

Iv been up that way panning deer creek but most of the ok aces were state park the places where I didpan didn't seem to have the right rock I'm still trying to find a good place to go panning and find somthibg

Quartz there isn't good? Or no bed rock

Its seems all flakey rock and no solid bed rock there was quartz but it just seemed like the wrong rock all togather I've also been to falling branch creek and found two pieces of gold coming out of a drin pipe went back and had no luck so I'm sti new at this maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places
