rock carrin

Looks like the measurements are 4 inches deep ? / 18 inches deep ?/ 24 inches wide / rings around the sides / marks in the bottom / place a something acreoss and along the edge I need good measurements

dsty, i will get that measured with a straight rule ,across the center rule for a better reading. and ill try and get that big drill hole stone, and owl, bear, duck set up in same photo. should i clean out the two smaller shapes in the bottom of big drill hole? thanks

Dog

Why not consider it the center of a layout and plot the rest of your findings on a topo of the area?

Oddrock

Is this just one drill hole or is it is more, Depth / Width / Circumfurence / all necessary to find the distance / circles around the edge are important, the may represent a division of sorts, one that had a horse shoe 1/2 way indicated three, carvings in the bottom are Very important as areas that are chiped somewhere around the top edge, there may be four directions to follow kinda like a diamond. If it has a rounded / sharp / bottom / all have different meanings.

thanks oddock, thats a good ideal to use that as ground zero oddrock,i like that ideal. i want to get me a range finder ,so i can shoot the distance to different stone markers i see in a area.

Hey, dog. In that second photo (with the shadow man) there's a shadow owl with sunshine eyes AND a eagle right next to it (on the left) with a sunshine eye, also.

good eye on the other stuff ss, amazing how they can make those small slits of light shine tru the shadows.

can you read this rock carrin? cant show you what shows thru the holes in the photos, atleast not yet. still working on what there trying to say. but this one may break it open for me, if i find what i think its showing. i cant give all the photos away. i have to save some for my picture book, lol. can you read it?View attachment 700238View attachment 700240

Heck, I'll try it on for size. Wouldn't be the FIRST time I've been wrong. :laughing7:

In the first photo, that thin stone on the right side of the stack, has a curving end that is pointing right at that light rock on top of that pile in the background on the right. In the second photo, that lower hoyo is in the shape of an arrow that is pointing back up at that thin rock's curved end. Kind of a confirmation that you don't see until you pass the cairn.

this is the photo of the dog head on the other side of the owl rock, bear and duck. i dont find to many drill holes,so it was cool to see these.View attachment 648197View attachment 648198View attachment 648199View attachment 648200View attachment 648201View attachment 648202View attachment 648203

The drill hole could be be telling you to use that monument as a mirror image. Dot is one/first. Bible first day = water. Drill hole is also a bowl which could hold water. I would say since turtles and hearts lead to treasure. it only makes sense that your monument should be followed but in the opposite direction. not to mention the size of that thing. heart/turtle pretty obvious, so easy to mislead. would say your interest area is not far from here. 1/4 mile or less.

The big round circle is showing you the direction of the mirror.

anyone know what a round dot means? this photo was shot from dog head drill hole.its about 25 yards west of dog head.View attachment 648816View attachment 648817
Looks like two hands holding a compass (center hold/army style). only the thumb is visible of the left hand which is aiding the right hand stay steady. My guess is the the direction is one of those straight lines on one of the hands.

Edit: those fingers which look reddish might double as a concealed heart.
