MVC-440F.JPGMVC-441F.JPGI found the 3 1/2" leather square last year in a privy. It has 8 1/2 rivets. I found the leather strap in the river yesterday. It is 27" long and has 52 rivets. I usually find rivets one at a time. 52 on one piece of leather is alot. Is this worth keeping or should it be scrapped for the metal? Thanks for looking! DDinPA.

well its your decision.

I never keep my rivets, I would have a bath full. But I might keep that.

Definitely worth keeping--I have found rivets attached to pieces of leather as well and can only assume its some sort of horse tack.

I'd keep it. Finding one with that many rivets is pretty noteworthy. Nice finds, and HH!
