Rings #145, #146 & #147 and $1,000.00 in clad this year !

Well the rain finally stopped here in California so I got out for two hunts this weekend . Yesterday my son Carson and I hunted a elementary school that I had hunted a few years ago . We found a good amount of clad and I found three rings ! One is a beauty ! It's 925 silver with 18K gold on each side of the pink stone ! It has two stamps on it , 925 & 750 . These rings bring my total for the year to #147 , #150 is getting close . Today we found only clad but that was OK because it brings my clad total for the year to over $1,000.00 !!!! This the 6th year in a row that I have found over $1,000.00 . With the clad found the last two days I'm at $1,002.49 for 2014 with half the month to go .

You may already know this, but just thought I'd make mention that that ring is silver AND gold. .925 Ag + .750 Au. Nice little designer ring there, probably worth $80-$100 on the resale market..

And $1000 in clad is godlike.. I always buy silver with my end of year totals. How I would like to buy $1000 worth of morgans...

What an accomplishment, to hit $1000 in clad, congratulations! Your story reminds me of when my own father used to take me and my siblings metal detecting back in the 1970s. We only hit elementary school tot lots. Dad would find the "beeps", and we kids would dig the treasure. Whenever our family hit a daily total of $3 in finds, we would celebrate on the way home with ice cream at the Tastee Freez. After forty years I still cherish those memories.

Impressive as always pl8! You have any idea on the value of the rings so far this year? You could buy a new 3030 on your profits every year. Lol
