Found this a few weeks ago, I think when I did up my Thread I forgot to add it,
and figured not worth the time to re edit.

it appears to be aluminum.

No markings inside

and I Thought it looked too large to be a Ring.
Until I put it on my middle Finger.

Now I'm not so sure.

It's too large for my Ring Sizer's which only go to 12 but if I had to guess , probably size 13

What do you think ?

Ring or fitting of some type ?

If so, that could be the Ring of Adamant, (from Lord of the Rings).

It cannot be the Ring Of Adamant, because it has no stone nor setting for a stone. Saruman the White said, "The Nine, the Seven, and the Three had each their proper gem."

Nenya - The One Wiki to Rule Them All - Wikia

Yeah, that occured to me too...
But I figured someone might have taken the gem and just ditched the remaining carcass. :)
Of course, at one time, aluminum was considered more valuable* than either gold or silver. Circa pre-1820's.
(I was going to say "precious", but figured I'd avoid the groans of any Ring fans out there!) LOL

Anyway, so think about THAT next time we're all bemoaning our latest pull-tab finds.
I could have retired by now.
