ring?

hi guys and gals. I dug this ring a couple days ago. it hit as silver so I dug it. it is smashed and I'm not sure of what it is. it has a very heavy patina on it and is heavy for its size.has anyone seen this type of ring before.looks as though it had stones in it at some point.thanks for any info.~matt~

The shape of the top reminds me of the CTR rings

crusader what would you think it is made of? I cleaned it a bit and it has a gold kinda look. i tried to bend it back into shape and i could not move it..bronze? it hits silver on my ace 250. huntindog sorry I'm sort of new to this ,what is a ctr ring.thanks guys. ~matt~

These are normally brass or copper.

thanks I'm thinking brass because it is heavy and I cant bend the metal. thanks for the info ;-)
