Well guys I went to City Park in New Orleans and went to find me some old silver or old lead. Well not sure what’s going on with the equinox it’s not hitting deep lead or silver after testing it, but I did get a deep 1919 wheatie at 9” and another wheatie. So I went to where I see people put up hammocks in this area of pine trees to look for some rings and I was getting some high and mid signals, so I dug of course and it was a ring spill!! The first one looked like a junker, but to my surprise it was a 925, so I was happy as heck. Then the pin pointer was still hitting something else which I figured mid tone pull tab and I pulled out the other ring my head said GOLD WITH HUGE DIAMOND!!!! Nope junker!!! My heart dropped....what a crazy hobby we live in. IMG_2821.JPGIMG_2822.JPG

heh, I've had alot of those bubblegum ring moments..lol.. Curious though... whats the deepest dig of your Nox so far? My AT Pro with the Cors Scout Coil could hit targets 12-13" down no problems with high iron discrimination . I just bought then Nox 600 and I haven't dug any targets over 9" yet.

I’ve been pretty confused about that. I’ve hit a wheatie 9” to 10” but when I put a Minnie ball 10”.....nothing, but I’ve hit cans a foot and a half. Still learning the machine I guess.

Me too. Got to find a comfy Iron Bias that gives good depth and discrimination. I think the machine has the potential to be a relic hunting beast... only time will tell though. Good luck on yur next hunt !
