Ring Cemetery

The same 20 x 20 spot that gave up two rings yesterday yielded two more today. Once again, one is sterling (the big one with astrological signs), and the other is probably junk (pending an acid test). Also got a stack of clad quarters, a junk earring, and a buckle that I strongly suspect is modern. Also an old-ish copper thing that looks like it might be a plate that would go over a skeleton-key lock...?

Also, today I noticed that a few holes I had filled yesterday were dug up again today as though I had never filled them. This has happened a couple of times. It's not forgetfulness -- I definitely fill the holes every time. Do you think little critters dig them up at night for some reason?
