Greetings everyone. Just another semi-newbie here. I thought it might be a good idea to get registered with this board so that I can learn as much as I can about this great hobby. I am just days away from getting a White's Coinmaster. As a kid I had a metal detector that was an electronics kit from Radio Shack. It was an okay type of toy but it was never anything really serious. Although I can only afford this entry level detector I am told it is a good buy that will re-introduce me to treasure hunting again. I would like to know from all of you as to what I can expect from my choice and if this is actually a good way to get back into metal detecting. Thanks for your input.
