No. i have heard from a few other guys who said they would look but i never heard back. One fellow said someone already has it. But wouldn't a reward help the person to contact me

I have several friends that live on that island I will send it to them

no promises but maybe if they post it there on the beach someone might
call you.

Most folks would gladly give it back free and without hesitation but some would rather
keep it themselves regardless of the reward amount

"the ring isn''t worth much". I think you are mistaken about this. This ring looks like platinum and a sizable diamond....maybe 3/4 of a carat. If a person were not honest, he might be inclined to sell the ring, rather than be a good samaritan, and turn it over to you, for a reward.
