books seem not so popular today, but still offer a means of collecting, organizing, and presenting 'info'
occasionally the package is exceptionally well-done (or resonates with the reader ?) and makes an impact
this is intended to be a non-fiction thread, probably non-religious as well, politics could be ?
and a note on what "revelatory" means to me -> opened my eyes, made me think about the content, a new lesson
(remembered the book?)
The book causing the thread's initiation came to mind while commenting on Boeing (RT).
Systemantics by John Gall, for anyone who has worked in a large organization (in WWII jargon FUBAR).
