In my last thread I shared some of my finds from 3 different permissions. One of those site I have been hunting a little over a year and starting to paint a picture of what took place. Last week we did a short 2 hr hunt and discovered a 1756 Spanish reale and a Spanish hammered cob. We only have a small patch available until harvest. I went back late evening and was soo excited to have found a Rev War French 18th regiment button. Its in beautiful condition with a nice patina. I have included some of the buttons and musket balls found in the past at the same location. Its neat when you start connecting the dots in what took place there. Ive included pics of what most the signals consist of and what it took to get 2 coins and a button. My nemesis ALUMN. LOL GL&HH

That's a great find! I have not yet hit a rev war button ...... but I'm dead after one lol that's a beauty!

To Quote Smokey "WOW!" She took the word out of my mouth. Beautiful

Man I'm loving that Rev button. So much rarer than that Spanish silver, and that type of Spanish is difficult enough. Rocked it

Nice!

For my records what is the date range?

You have really been doing well lately. Congrats on a stellar button, and in such nice condition too.

Best of luck and thanks for sharing!

If one was going to dig a button this example of yours would be the one.Congrats on the smashing example and recovery.
