Reunification Day

Today is "Reunification Day," when our ball-o-holic boys are reunited with their balls (and each other). They LOVE their balls, but they haven't been able to PLAY with their balls (or each other) for two weeks since their balls were taken away from them. Vet says they can now go swimming again, too--with and/or without their balls!

Obedience classes start at the end of the month; it can't come soon enough for us. 🤪

Our next two service dogs in training... 😁

Thanks. Believe it or don't, this is the only picture we have where either one or both aren't just blurs.

They're both the joy of our lives 🤗 and a host of unholy terrors at the same time. 😱

The black one is a certifiable ball-o-holic, and extremely high-strung. He'd rather play fetch with his lacrosse ball than eat (and that's saying something for a Lab!) He'll also play fetch with anything he can carry/drag in his mouth.

The brown one is a mellow fellow. He'll play fetch, but he has a limit.

They have the most fun together playing "tug-o-war" and "I've got it and you don't" (canine version of "keepaway") with whatever is at hand.

They're also both cuddle-bugs and belly-rub mooches. 😁
