Retrun to marble dump tonight. 70 more, silver ring, glass bangle, porcelain cat? Figure marked Japan.

I finally went back tonight. Running total is 129 marbles. I finally dug out a sadly broken 5 gallon crock full of cans that blocked me from opening up pocket more. It also is how that fragile glass bangle? Probably survived 80 years on the top layer of a dump. Top layer is 1930s and 40s house hold bottles, mostly easy to date owens Illinois bottles, not worth hauling out. Hopefully I at least get a milk bottle out of here or a decorative piece.

I'm guessing ring is silver because it came out too nice to be plated brass. Plated doll spoon last time was pretty rough from same pocket. Also in mix toy candle stick?, D buckle, porcelain animal figure marked Japan and a glass paper weight. Due to the dump being surrounded by water on all sides except one I'm hesitant to really dig it past a foot down. turning it into a sinkhole seems possible.

Thank you. I'm currently sitting at 144 marbles from here. It looks like a Mason jar of marbles went into dump and spilled everywhere. Jar survived, pitched down hill and had a marble still in it. I dug it up last weekend. Hazel atlas jar now reunited with most of its contents.

The same reason why people throw out baseball cards and comic books. Moms are evil! They clean the kid's room when he's at school and toss out all his "junk". Not right!
