Hi all, my name is Mike but friends call me Vinny and I hope you do too. Well, retired after 35 years and 54 yrs. old from a water utility here in Colorado. A little early than I planned (was to be 55 yrs) but you know how companies want the old guys out! Anyway, have tried other hobbies but none lasted, you know "flavor of the month kinda thing". Have heard of metal detecting before, but never really looked into it. So, I did some research and I believe this is going to be it. I love the outdoors and the time to be in it. History, old sites and structures have always interested me as well. So I purchased a Bounty Hunter Tracker lV. Have yet to use it do to the weather but am researching online. That's how I found this site. I am impressed with the family attitude of all and the values expressed in the rules section which I embrace as well. I hope to be active here and learn as I go. A belated welcome Vinny from here in Summit County Colorado. You didn't work for the Denver Water Board did you? If so, rest assured that so far no terrorists have attacked the Dillon Reservoir Dam. And I have decided that in the coming year I am goin to p**s a lot less into Dillon Reservoir, which is used as a water supply for Denver. Just jokin, and since you're from Colorado you'll probably understand it. Come to the mountains this summer and look us up!
