A loss of a pet is one of the hardest thinks we have to face here on earth. You said it was your last S&R dog- do you have other pets? Do you not intend to raise any more?

Thank you very much. I did K9 Search & Rescue for 18 years, retiring from it in 2014 when Chiba was 6 years old. Upon occasion, we would still assist when needed. You develop a unique relationship with your rescue dogs. I don't think at my age I will get another dog as the thought of it outliving me is haunting.
