Hello Forum I found this religious pendant. The necklace appears to be silver. The pendant itself appears to be silver plated. I wish I could identify the age or maker of this. I did find what could be a mark, but Iโ€™m not 100% sure. Thanks for looking.

Nice find.........the back of the pendant is corroded which would indicate that it's not silver. If the chain and/or pendant were silver it would be marked "sterling" or .925
 

Thanks for the reply Clad2Silver. I would agree for the pendant. As for the chain, when I used silver polish on it with a damp paper towel, it left streaks of grey on the paper towel. The tarnish came off, and it shines. I will have a jeweler look at it just to be sure.
