Relics for today.........

Followed an old wagon trail today and picked up some stuff....Yeah...the usual stuff...horse shoes and bullets.

But....today I did manage to find a buckle! First buckle I have found back there. I didn't take my shovel, only the little garden digger cause I am tired of hauling it around, and there were some signals that I just couldn't get to. The ground is very dry. So... I will have to go back and see what I left behind! Anyhow it was a beautiful day here and I enjoyed my hunt.

If it weren't for all these horse shoes and bullets...............................I wouldn't have anything to post!

Very cool finds!! I think many of your finds would make for great Rustic (No pun intended)Displays. Perhaps glass incased or framed. Or maybe even embedded in a clear acrylic, that can be hung on the wall or poured for a counter top. WTG!! HH

Nana, you could always use the nails to hang the horseshoes on a privacy fence if you have one or on a 4X4 post. Be sure to point the open end up or the luck will run out.

Counter top rv?....hmmm....never thought of that!

Don't have a privacy fence stoney....don't need one here! But.....We DO have plenty of fence posts!

Nana- there's some better good stuff in there....you keep it up and you'll get some....I've come out with many a grouping similar to that which you've shown and then several hunts later found some coins, buttons...........by the way I'm surprised you haven't found any buttons.......but you keep it up.
