I have been playing with the XP Goldmaxx this week and I am really starting to like this machine. It takes a bit to get used too. I have found that is has great depth in my soil and picks through iron like nobody's business. I didn't make any great finds but had a couple close calls that got the blood pumping. Example one buckle not CW but cool none the less, one button with an anchor on it not CW but civilian. Anyhoo I hope everyone has a good weekend and makes some great finds.

P.S. check out the .69 cal mashed flat as a pancake and if anyone can ID the iron it would be nice. I know the one piece looks like a lever action from an old BB Gun but it sure is made heavy to be that and the other piece I have never seen anything like it.;D

Great stuff :icon_thumleft:

The XP will just get better and better the more you use it! You're right, it is brilliant for working around the iron

I have seen the old lever action Winchester and Savage rifles and the one I found seems to be shaped a bit different. It really looks like the lever off an old BB gun but is made out of solid steel and very heavy maybe a very old Red Rider or Daisy. :dontknow:
