Relics, button? Tanner piece, tool...

It finally thawed but snow in the forecast this week. last few hunts have been fun. I hit an old school house but only clad. Dirt gets pushed around over the years and there was nothing old anywhere. The equinox sucked a few keepers out of my hard hit spots. I can’t believe how deep you can find a copper fork. I bet it loves those old copper coins out east. No silver but I’m a happy digger if I can keep finding stuff like this. Any Idea what the button thing is or the ornate rectangle object. Here is a link to a simular button I found. http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/482579-strange-military-button-i-think.html The rectangle has 2 small slots at the top and has two crimps to hold something in the middle. I was thinking hat band or belt piece. The buckle has some Boy Scout looking stamps! I seem to sure like the little clip Good luck, thanks for the visit

Thanks for the posts! Everything is covered with a big wet ugly snow but we need the moisture. It will help also help with detecting till it dries out!
