It only takes a few minutes to make a pass across a vacant lot or field and dig several good signals.That will give you an ideal as to what might have occured on that property in the past.If you find relics or coins, you have a good site to dig all signals or if all you dig is trash you know to move on.I've found several civil war sites by doing this.DBULL
