Redmond Or. forest fire coming close Cynangyl?

I think Cynangyl lives right in that vacinity and it's shaping up to be an early fire season in the N.W. near 100 degrees the last few days some places and lots of lightning. Let us know how your doing, please.

Thanks for your concern Silverswede. There have actually been some wildfires already in the area. The closest was the "crooked fire" out by crooked river ranch which was only about 5 miles from here. Luckily we have incredible fire crews and that one is out as well as the others in the area as far as I know. The fire crews are amazing. I am blessed to have some friends on the Warm Springs Hot Shots crew too, very dedicated, highly trained people who work hard to keep people safe! Again, thanks for thinking of me! I will keep that in mind when others are close and let ya know if any are especially scary.

glad you are okay, we used to live there when they had the China Hat fires, it was scary even though there were not many houses. It shifted and came close to our church and other houses on Bear Cr Rd.
