Detector(s) used
3 Aqua pulse, 1 Excalibur
Primary Interest:
Shipwrecks
It has been a tough season so far. Cold thermals chilling us to the bone while we dive for 8 hours a day. Rough seas and poor visibility (1-2') partially due to the dumping of lake water/ runoff from Taylor creek in Ft Pierce.

However, we seem to be steady finding artifacts including silver coins, musket balls, bronze nails, old strong box lock, pottery, copper, and other shipwreck artifacts.

Here's to August being a good month!

Aarrr!

Nice thought Bonnie. I'm more inclined to think it was one of three locks on the door where Treasure chests were stored.

Makes sense Dell looks rather large ..iron husky enough for a door .........sure gets the imagination going

I like sharing the finds we make. Because this is about history, and sharing it with the world. I like and respect the people on this forum. These are the reason I share our finds.

Booty Salvage,Your another class act.well done............Mike

Pretty little half reale. No cleaning, we keep our coins in water and it came off with a paper towel. About 8' of sand in the area this came out of

That is nice, and amazing that it came up in such great condition. You guys are on a good trail...just a matter of time (and a little luck) till you dust off a big pile of shiny stuff. Good luck, and thanks for being an ethical and respectable group of salvors, we could use more groups like Booty Salvage.

Got a big one. 4 reale I think.

That one is Gorgeous!
How's the other side?
Visibility has got to be bad right now too.
It doesn't look like these last couple have spent much time on the surface.
Was it about 8' below like the other?

Yea I think we are up to 32 silver coins or something like that. I was doing paperwork and trying to add them up and I think it's 32.

It is not easy to find 32 coins on the 1715 fleet these days. It just makes what Greg and Brent did with those 51 gold coins just that more impressive. But there is still time to beat that and I'm sure Brent wouldn't mind more gold!
