I'm very new to posting on this message board but I follow it everyday. I love seeing some of the interesting stuff people dig up. I got detecting about once a week for an hour or so. However, I've done quite well finding things on the ground and in the coin rolls at my work. Today my girlfriend and I went to a park thats on top of a hilltop. There is barely room to detect but we have had a blast. So far it has yielded a 43D Merc aand a handful of clad. However, today my girlfriend found a 29D wheat penny. I was so proud of her because she beat my oldest coin to date. I also found a 58D Rosie and 36, 46, 58, wheats. Ive also found about $2-3 in clad on the ground plus a 1 oz silver necklace. If I find more until it starts to get cold I will post a pic of everything together. Thanks for reading!

Nice start indeed. Best part is having a partner to hunt with. I don't have one. That is definately the best find.
