Thanks, I was excited! Yes I'm afraid a plow got the celt. celt and blue bead found in a field where I've never found anything before. I will be going back!

the marks look like a disc ran over that piee
discs are artifact busters we don't use a disc on our site for that reason we do however use one in the garden

about a string of beads find
in 1965 my friend jim and me found around 55 mussel shell beads (cache) on top of a hill overlooking the missouri river
they were the kind shaped the size of a cheerio but a little thinner
i think that will be something that happens but hardly ever

I have been lucky enough to find several glass beads in the field next to this one lots of different shapes and sizes, even thought I found a couple of diamonds!!! but they were cut glass!! I will try to post more pics. later today. Have a great day!
