Monday, I had a very good hunt, finding 8 good points (which I posted). I posted that I was excited about going Wednesday to look a field adjacent to the Flint River about 50 miles from here. The hunt was very disappointing. I only found 5 small pieces of pottery. Thursday, a friend invited me to look some land he had looked 20 years ago. I was excited about the field. It had chips over a very wide area. Unfortunately for me, I only found one nice scraper and 3 broken points. My friend found a killer Bolen beveled and 3 other o.k. points. Friday afternoon I went to some land that I have looked many times this spring. The broken drill came from their. Today I looked another field I have looked many times this spring. I know that they are not much to see but these are the best of what I found. I also found lots of broken points.
