Nothing beats living in the country. Waaaayy to friggin hot to dig today, so I hunted for berry's on my property instead :) If I can keep the kids hands out of the bowl long enough to get em inside, I have done my job well.

Now for the real relics. Found these over the past couple weeks. Not much and was still too darn hot to stay out long, but I got a few.

A .69 and .58 cal bullet

An evil looking bridal rosette from 1877 (at least) home site. I reckon it was a bear or wolf or something at one time. Now you can only make out one eyeball and brow in the upper left.

A neat copper 1933 Chicago World's Fair something or other. A Chrysler dealer musta been giving out freebies.

Bake us a pie, will ya, Grib? ;) :D

That rossette is a great find. I can't quite make out the picture either. I've found two of them so far....one with a star/sun and another with a picture of a St. Bernard.

Nice finds! :)

AHHHhhhh...nothing like a good 'ole home made blackberry pie! Just like Granny used to make! ;) Great finds there Grib! Hope you enjoy your pie! ;)

Hey Grib:

Nice finds: oh yea, the relics are neat, too, as usual. ;)

FYI; have a Vaquero on order; finally made the decision to join the "Tones Rule!" Group. I'll be happy if I crank out half as many relics as you do. ;D

You'll do great with it, just take your time on learning to ground balance the thing properly. You set it too negative, it will be worse than an automatic ground balance machine. Too positive and you will get a lot of falsing. Also, you'll find you want to use as little DISC as possible when looking for relics. You are gonna dig a lotta junk that way, but you get way better depth on the good targets too. It works fine as a coin shooter, but if you want to get that max depth use little DISC with the Tesoro.

Ok -no fair showing food here!! LOL :D I thought commercials were bad but now..
Nice berries.. that doesn't sound strange ? does it??
Congrats & HH
