Hello everyone

I know this is today's finds but when you hunt everyday and work second shift its hard to get a post up. I've been recently learning the etrac and I'm getting better with it as I get more hrs under my belt. Most of the finds came from worked over parks.

A few days a week I'll check out a few old parks and see what I can squeeze out. I have also been hunting a old golf course and I found the two gd rings. Nice mans 14kt and a old broken ring with black stone.

The pocket watch is gold or rolled gold. Its a beautiful old watch. It was found in a area where I believe they mined coal back in the day.

Hope you guys like the pics and finds.

HH Jer

Thanks everyone

I believe the item your talking about is a watch and or clock winder.

The sterling item with the lions head a believe is a corner protector for a old trunk or suitcase. It was about 8 inches deep found on a old golf course from 100 yrs ago.

Yes the wheats were tumbled with aquarium gravel water and a tea spoon of dawn dish soap.

Thanks pp I've found a lot of pocket watches in my career. But gold and silver ones are tough to come by. This one hill side gave up about 10 pocket watches. Last yr same site I found a complete sterling pocket watch over 100 yrs old just sitting on top of some leaves. Like it was dropped yesterday.

Thanks for the "Tumbling " info, .
10 Pocket watches -One hill side? Wow must have been a popular hill. lol
Still hunting my first Pocket Watch.

May your luck stay Good.

Thanks danvers I believe that the area was strip mined for coal. I got the sense that all the workers would site on this hill and take lunch etc. Pull out the watch and go damn got x amount of time left before the day is over lol. Then lose the watch. Then I come along 100 yrs later and find them.

No problem I'll tumble just about anything as long as it has little value to it. Wanna run them for about 12 hrs. The more coins the better they clean up. The dirt on them acts like a sand and grit in the tumbler.
