Hey folks.
Dont post my finds or talk much about what I do or where I hunt anymore, but thought the copper culture folks here could help ID a coin.
Recently found, totally encrusted. Unidentifiable until I tumbled it.
Now it looks to be familiar, but cant find one with this reverse but w/ George facing left.
Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a King George II halfpenny. Nice find!

Yes, a KGII, Young Head, so most likely 1730s. Glad Tumbling worked for you to get at least a chance to ID the coin.....

Great find, Dan! Nice to see you posting again. Are you hunting early trade sites now? Keep on posting those finds, Dan.
