Recent completed eBay auctions over $100

I wont share too many of my really high dollar stories or scores here & my $100 or more sales are way to numerous to list anyhow! $500 & up that changes the story quite a bit & $1000 & up really changes the story! Anything I show on here I wait a long time (by many others standards) before I actually list the items. I'm probably 4-6 months behind & prefer to move the lower ($25-$50) items first as I don't mind storing several $200 items but storing a whole bunch of $50 items takes up way too much room!

There have been some really good reasons others have listed as to why it is bad to share too much info with others. Many of us have spent a the better part of a decade or more perfecting what we do & unless I'm selling a "how to" book then I'm not just giving the info I have learned away for free. Money & knowledge is all it takes & the best knowledge comes from experience not from stories!

I don't mind sharing stories but I'm not going to show and tell. Here where I live the thrift stores use search engines to price items. I don't want to post a picture and selling price so that store can see it came from a block up the road lol. Or I bought it at their store 3 days earlier. As for competition here everyone is a "American picker" or Rick anymore. I see people buying stuff that's .50 for 10 bucks and thinking they have a great deal. Then it gets slapped on ebay and a thrift store sees it or another seller sees it priced at that and guess what. Now that item will become a $10 item all over the place.

Don't believe it, watch one episode of the picking tv shows. Then google it and see how the prices are. They'll be pretty close. Same principal applies here.
