Hello tneters,

I hope there is someone out there that can help me identify this silver ring i found at an old dumpsite. I do not know for the life of me where to begin the research. here are a few pics. the stamp is hard to see but magnified 10x... i have blown it up and still can't make anything out. Thank you.

Not only have I never seen anything similar, I don't know that anyone else has either. It looks like a custom handmade piece. The images don't make any sense, it has what looks like a cowboy on a rampant stallion on the face, with sea-dragons on the side and a rosette on the bottom. I can't make anything out in the stamp either.

I cannot make out marks... cannot read them.
This in my opinion is a TAXCO piece...
See if you can make this word out... then do searches for taxco rings in the category yourself.
The other mark will be maker who worked for Taxco...
Try to make his name out... do searches for "name" "taxco"

Antique Sterling Silver Ring Mexico Pancho Villa Bandit Capacti Dragon sz11 HUGE | eBay

This is a fabulous vintage or antique estate Men's Ring. This massive handcrafted artisan studio ring is from Mexico. It is nearly an ounce, weighing 27.1 grams and is massive with the top measuring 1 inch by 1 & 1/4 inches across. It is currently Size 11. This ring is pretty amazing. The subject matter is a mounted Mexican Bandido most likely Pancho Villa(Bandit, Freedom Fighter, Folk Hero & Politician) or maybe even Joaquin Murrieta. The sides are adorned in the Capacti Dragon. The hallmark is Made In Mexico. The silver content is .925 sterling or better by acid test. This ring is in all original as found unaltered estate condition as shown in the picture
