I also started with the 250 and it is a great machine. Watch the videos and read what the pros have to say here and you will pick up some valuable pointers quick. Be patient as it takes a minute to understand fully what is going on. Best of luck!

Nice starter machine,I suggest that you get a garrett pinpointer and a lesche digger on ebay,and watch some you tube videos on these,they will make your trips more enjoyable promise.
