Got out for 7 hours of swinging on 2 well hunted site...but not hunted out by any means! Find if the day for me was the 1862 New Brunswick 5 cent...in well circulated condition but with only a total of 100,000 minted it will be a welcome first in my collection! Also found a couple LARGE coppers and some assorted bits and bobs. The crudely made cross is a bit of a head scratcher. I'm told it could be a knife pommel but I really have no idea...will have to do some research! Fun day...thanks for looking!

Your cross may be part of a wax seal fob? Missing its stone/glass...great hunt, congrats. Sub 8-)

Nice assortment of finds. I like the cross and 5 cent coin. Congrats

Nice!!! Congrats!!!!

I agree that your Fleur de lis might have been a wax seal - your 5c is also known as a "fish scale"
