Ranking the White's DFX in today's world

Yes I currently use this machine, purchased it used 6 years ago so its what 12 years old approx. I have 3 coils. It seems to me others may be newer but how much better are the electronics this machine works off two freq, anyhow let me no what you think.

Ain't nobody getting my DFX away from me!

I used the DFX for 18 years and it still can, and does, complete with todays machines. Still one of the best buys on a used detector in my opinion.

With two frequency you can go from dry sand to wet salt sand seamlessly. Or you can run it at 3khz or 15 kHz. You can adjust sweep speed, recovery speed
,ground filters and much more. There is a learning curve. Spent a lot of time going over manual and
Digging Deeper with the DFX book. Love that machine.

In the hands of a skilled user, it will keep pace with anyone.

Have 2.. just sold the third.. they are selling cheap because they are older.. shame people don't get the fact not much has changed in the past 15 years.. It also has a steep learning curve many never overcome or want to be bothered with.
