MBB, Jeff-Gordon has that exact same thought on posting his metal detecting finds. I have heard he actually has a hoard of precious metal that would pay off many third world countries' debt:tongue3:. There is something to be said for humility:notworthy:

Hope you like Zombie Pirates!...lol...

Here is a pic of my Grandfathers 100 ton schooner, the Acme....She was build in Nova Scotia in 1904 by the same shipyard that built the Bluenose....She was a rumrunner between Newfoundland and the USA during prohibition before my Grandfather who was a sea captain himself purchased her in the 1930s...She was wrecked in 1942 after a storm blew her from her moorings...Here is a pic of my grandfather in the 1930s sitting alongside my Grandmother the same chair I have in my living room...He was shipwrecked himself in the early 1900s but was saved by fisherman when he was hoisted to safety from a 60 ft cliff.....He passed away in 1945, 25 years before I was born...Wish I had known him.....I could only image the stories he could tell!...

My grandfather ( on Dad's side ) passed before I was born too, but I was fortunate enough to meet Dad's buddy's father. I really loved it when Dad took me as a youngster to his house. He could tell some tales!
Nice pics and post!

For any of you who get lonely in the wilderness

Just wait a while at the waterhole. :laughing7:

I shot this pic in Utah couple summers ago.
