Sheesh when are they gonna make em from stainless... sheesh even Alum...
OR...
Just make the grooves in the knob shaft deeper... and a knob with some real "meat" to it.

Back to the Gerber military multi tool. heh

I passed on one recently... the guy ended up pawning it...
THEN I heard he missed the payments...
AND... it went on the floor for resale...
I know all this because I was called in to give my opinion to the pawn shop owner as to "value"...
The guy took a 500 dollar loan on it.
Pawn guy called me and told me it was available...
I went to go talk with him...
Walked in...
Was gone.
An employee had sold it earlier that day and he did not even know it was already gone. heh.

And so it goes...
Sold for 650...
Pawn guy would have let me have it for pawn ticket. and a couple of 20's prolly.
SO...
Someone got a good deal in Palm Harbor.

Notice the snapped off X2 knob... again.

Like I said in earlier post...
I don't know why they did not make them in Stainless or Alum...
With deep grooves in knob shaft.

was in a big fishing area
I did have a crapload more of fishing tackle...
But I gave it all away to the first fisherman I ran upon...
What you see there is what I found after the giveaway.

Many many thanks AARC for those photos. Looks like your Fischer doesn't belongs to an armchair detectorist :laughing9:

I have only used the magnetometer from JW Fischer. The detector line is not so used in Europe. I have to make some evaluations for an underwater archeological fundation:

I already received the full line of Ebinger/Seacon PI and I'm waiting the end of this month to have better underwater visibility condition to properly evaluate them.

I will contact you if you don't mind to make the learning curve faster for the JW
