Nice pics! I found some of those Big old spiders when I was at Camp Pendleton.Don,t scare me,I like spiders.We have what we call Jumping spiders but they,re a lot smaller.Hairy like those and even playful.

The two big one are two of my pet tarantulas. One is a common rose hair and the other an expensive cobalt blue(very aggressive, fast, and most venomous tarantula I believe supposed to be months of pain and patches of numbness.) Her tank is never opened just slightly cracked for food and water.

Only venomous ones we have are the Black Widow and Brown Recluse.You hardly ever see one,but watch where you put your fingers!

Yeah I think that's the worst we have in California as well. Just widows, though I've heard rumors of brown recluse here throughout the years but unsure. I've been bit by a black widow before so not too concerned of those. I just had a huge red rash for an hours and my muscles on my right side ached like 2 hours than I was fine.

i was bitten by a Brown Recluse on my right hip but it was either a dry bite or I,m not allergic because I had no symptoms.My doctor gave me a med that is used to treat leprosy so didn,t have any rot out.Not that I,m complaining mind you.

Actually at first i thought it was a staph infection, I,m prone to those,but the doc IDed it as a Brown Recluse bite.
