I have collected thousands of sea beans/drift seeds. If your a beachcomber you'll find them here and there. They can be somewhat rare. Certain types are extremely rare. There are collectors world wide and the keys is a premier destination for fanatical collectors. There is even an annual sea bean festival !! A good day might be 3-4, some days you get none !! They are a secondary treasure for me, but I never pass one buy !!

Winner winner chicken dinner.... the vaunted and ultra rare 1732 pillar dollar....the first year of production of this design. Every single one lost in the 1733 plate fleet hurricane disaster!!

Got this one hunting with islamorada mark.....I got a signal in 4 feet of water...when I started digging this came up....target was trash !! Mark jaw was on the deck !!

Kicking in on the lake. None metal detecting reservoir. Sooo I hit all the islands after the weekend parties looking for some bling !! Some nice rings but lots of lures, cans, tabs (alot beavers lake is low) clad and assorted trash but always a good time. Never know.
