Just whats on the shipwreck forum. But take a look at my pics and see if ou think there is evidence of fire. Looks like there might be some charring on some of the timbers. I dont know maybe maybe not. They did move it up the beach and strap it down .
Just because a hull construction is in a certain "format"... does not necessarily mean it can date this ship.
Ship building tech was not so "cut and dried" as one would like it to be... in other words dating this hull is very hard.
Ships built in one region may differ in tech and design than a ship built in the same way on the same day in a different region... simply because the were totally void of the others knowledge or advancements... the knowledge of something "new" was one thing... changing things simply because another builder did was another.
This ship could have easily been from 19th century... 18th century... and YES even 17th century...
Its birth can only be told by ALL the pieces of a puzzle coming together.
ALSO...
To assume... as one stated to the news people... that it came from a specific area near there is like stating that to get to Mars one need only point a finger in any direction up.
This hull IMO... dislodged and could have bounced along the bottom for months even years... in semi buoyant state or even just surfaced and floated from ANYWHERE south of discovery zone.
The likelihood of that hull came in from wherever they think is remote at best.
SO... to say its from somewhere like one stated is asinine.
