No reason for a maintenance in Italy! The guaranty is looooong time gone, so you just need someone who is able to do the same job in the US!
Only problem are METRIC tools which are needed

An other problem are the needed parts if something is broke.
Approx 25 years ago I thought about to buy my wife an white Lotus Esprit (just for 7000 Euros) than A friend told me that needed parts will quickly goes higher as the costs of the car itself... so no Lotus for wify

Cheapest solution: A replica And if you know a good mechanic, he also can create the original sound out of a Audi 100 engine LOL

And think about that fact: If woman can use silicon, we guys can also buy replica cars !! No difference here

Have you ever heard the Countach exhaust ? You may replicate the body, but certainly can't the exhaust sound. Unbelievable.
Shortly after we graduated from high school, my friend bought a Lotus Esprit. Was fun to ride in and definitely a babe magnet. Sounds like you have good taste in automobiles.

Please "NEVER" think I would take it personally if a picture or comment is not "Liked" by someone. At times, there may be something posted that just doesn't seem appropriate to hit the "Like" button. When you posted about some hardships, hitting the "Like" button did not seem appropriate at all, but to sharing that insight did deserve a "Like". Plus, with all the posts going on here, it is easy to miss a few. Again, if nobody gives me a "Like" for something, it is ok, really.
