Maybe because I was in Marketing & Sales I had it a bit easier at least lots of business travel and expense accounts soothed the punishing parts of the job. Of course I thrived on trying to drive the bigwigs crazy every chance I got....lol.
I remember one Monday morning getting a call about 8 a.m. on the intercom. It was the VP in from Vancouver on a trip. No good morning, nothing.....Bill it's Green let me in people needed a swipe card to access the offices.
Well when the buzzer went off I walked over to the front door which had panels of glass on both sides....Bill let me in.
What's the password I asked
F...u...Bill let me in....but to be fair Fred Green was chuckling at my little prank.
I could write a book about all the pranks I pulled on them and believe it or not since I was one of the only ones with enough guts to do it I managed to get away with it for my whole career. Mind you I was one of the best Marketeers they had which helped...
