RANDOM PICTURE THREAD - Post ANY of your favorite pictures here to share with Tnet...

Wow this thread is going crazy with all this posting :)Three days ago I fell going down the stairs & broke 4 bones in my right foot.First time back on line in 3 days and a lot of catching up to do here.

Perhaps due to me back from hiatus and also posting.

But this thread has always been up and down... more up than down... but nonetheless.

There's houseboats-then there's houseboats. This would out float most boats, in the houseboat division.

Cleaning my shop I've bagged thousands of those, they BITE too!
Ugh, I absolutely despise these creatures! We never had em until the fall of '97 I believe it was. Ignore them in garage in winter, maybe sweeping them up couple times, but come spring and early summer I have to move everything lining the base of walls. Gas cans, 5 gallon buckets, chain saws, etc. etc. They're laying in beeps and clusters + scattered all over, crawling on windows. Get out shop vac and suck 'm of windows and about the time everything looks clear on and around window, another 1/2 dozen came from some obscure crevice crawling on it again, ugh. Than the shop vac stinks!

Basement same way. Once a week go down to do laundry and the floor is littered with hundreds of carcasses, have to sweep them up before carrying laundry to machines otherwise they'll stick to soles of my shoes and tracked upstairs into carpet. Finally ready to run water in washer, lift lid, no wait, have to shop vac inside machine first, eeeaaahhh!!! They can't get in dryer though. In spring there pretty much killed off, only have to vacuum basement windows couple times.

Yes they go in under the eaves in Oct. (the b***ards have ruined the end of the beautiful month of October) and find their way down through minute gaps between quarter round and ceiling so are in the house to a much much lesser extent than anywhere else. Before about 1997. I liked the cute little red lady bug but these things take it to a whole new dimension! Living close to woods seem to be the factor compared to town folk who seem to only get a few. O.k. enough of my rant, on with the picture show.
