It's hollow and appears hand made by the irregular shape and there's a small hole both top and bottom....just a guess on my part but it might have hung from the side of a native headdress back in the day.

I was told the natives would put on shows in full regalia at this location about circa 1900.

Here's a find I made many years ago half of a Saturday night special....note how the handle was shortened to easily fit tucked into the pants behind the belt.
