I remember on Paps farm, making soap with lard and lye. And we used it for frying too.Remember smearing lard onto the top of cookstove, then using a potato peeler to make potato chips. One person peeling and one picking them off the stovetop as they were done

When I found my 1889 seated dime love token I had no idea what it was until I looked it up online. It's my favorite find. A true piece of folk art.

Thanks...about 810 feet from bottom to top. Mostly pryroclastic rock with a vein of white opalite running through about 25 feet thick....The climb was well worth it!

Is the mouth hinged with that spring? If I could get a different view I think the teeth are pretty cool too.
