That's what we did for years when the kids were around. This year the bride said it was time for a new one. I told here we had 3 in the shop but Noooooo.

Soon.Ours is always up & decorated.Just remove a couple large garbage bags,haul it upstairs & plug in

gold boy it might be because retailers start putting Christmas stuff out in July now instead of November.
