Now on to a lighter side,that was some heavy stuff to ponder,more later.
I went metal detecting early this morning down the Meadows,the first abode was built down there in 1635 and has had activity ever since,now it's a turf farm used to be all farming real choice bottom land covering 45 hectares give or take a square meter.I got there a bit before 6 and the men were about done with a load.I guess being from the Caribbean they really like cool mornings along the river.Them fellas WORK.Heading out..
now an area I've never hunted before...and I did,but first pictures I took while hunting,the oxbow is chock full of Lotus from the beavers catching high water this spring a lot more than usual too such an AWE seeing such a thing.
I would give a safe figure of 100[SUP]20
of these creatures give or take half a dozen..they are EVERYWHERE all colors,sizes and wing patterns.
Nice area,pistol bullets black powder,musket balls,rein guides,a cool fob,and a 1914 Barber.

Yeah, I believe back then or even today harmonics we're popular. I've found a couple of pieces in my yard which was a 50 acre farm years ago. I know when you hit that brass tone which could be in your mind a special find its special. Great finds.

I like detecting down there PRIVATE PROPERTY..all to myself,unless I invite someone,last time I did that the fella found a 1759 half real.

I'm not feeling good at ALL. I almost collapsed in the hallway, I'm freezin' and hurtin'. Sorry I wasn't much of a participator today.
As I am typing, a big group of "cavalry" is in our yard - must be about 20 of em'. They lost a shoe, and as luck would have it, we got the supplies for shoeing.
