I ever show you guys what us modern day real deal pirates go to sea with for close quater combat ?? !! Having owned my own sailboat for years....naturally you must be able to defend it. So what do you really want as far as a gun goes on a boat ?? Got to get it up and on target in small hatches and companion ways quickly and cleanly so it must be compact. Got to pack punch....you know.......like enough to sink a boat coming on you fast...or even punch out an outboard engine block. Got to be high capacity and semi auto. Most importantly it must hold up reasonably well to a saltwater environment. So this is what I bring to sea if necessary....oh and don't forget something that ammo can be found for it anywhere on the planet. 20190801_095258.jpg

The core of this little tiger is a red jacket firearms build. It's an ausa reciever with a chopped barrel and gas tube assembly we got a poly pinned stock, slanted muzzle brake, I installed a recoil buffer, tapco trigger, and I've polished the rotating bolt assembly I've coated every piece in duracote gunfinish for the salt problem, and its great !! Were shooting lacquered steel standard Russian ak ammo from 600 round sealed tins...762x39. Got double stacked 40 round steel mags for a total of 80 rds. This AK-47 pistol is only 14 inches and is registered as a pistol here in florida......so...technically you could conceal carry this? If possible ?.....great weapon for the boat. She explodes in a wall of fire and lead when bump fired from the hip. A bump fire on this will drain 40 rds in an instant and clear the decks quick. Dig around in the dirt in certain countries and you could find the ammo. When the ship hits the fan....my ship sails if need be, and well I might have to keep all my ship safe.

Note the glove for the hot hand guard...
No bump stock for this lil boy. L.o.l..

Broke the lid on the laptop , so if I disappear for a while ;it's not arrest based.

Bart , if you ever fight putting the bolt back together , when looking at the bolt face and the groove it goes in , just turn the bolt upright and gently drop the face piece into it. It will ride down to home.

Heck of a design ,an A.K.. Any shortcomings in accuracy are overcome by durability and simplicity.
Understandably fine for what it was designed for.

I'd upgrade one , but today's prices are awful high vs the past. Multiple options and platforms at the same (or less) price point...
Kept tabs on R.W.S. but when they moved to Mi. the website went down...
They are on facebook but that tells little about their varied services and models ect..They offer(ed) build classes and plain Janes on up. With quality builds.
This must be whats been popular of late. It'll sweep a deck I imagine.

Yup....lots of choices out there. And alot more expensive now....even parts kits. My wife can hang on to the first mates weapon and can shoot pretty good. She ain't afraid to shoot this AMD-65.20190801_105721.jpg

Afghan parts kit on American made AKM reciever. Just had to duracote it and upgrade with after market poly grips. 40 rd. East german steel mag. 7.62x39. Had a nice 1.5 mil reciever for extra durability.

After a loooooong day of finding zilch elsewhere, I finally found another Civil War relic! It was a brass toe plate beside the sidewalk. I passed the signal before, hoping to find a better signal. Dumb. Tomorrow I'll dig questionable signals. It has already been ID'd as Civil War.

Hey RR...... I got one last week in Michigan too.

That's a cool find!

They were made before the war, and after the war. Mine is Civil War because of the picket that was posted there. No earlier artifacts were discovered, and only post 1930s stuff was found minus the post.

Yours may have belonged to a soldier, because Michigan did have regiments stationed there. More likely than not it was civilian.

Hey RR.....my best trash can find....ARC probably remembers this one from a couple years ago. Neighbor dies and they start throwing away her stuff. When in the trash because it was stuck in the scabbard. Now its mine and I luv it.20190801_224616.jpg20190801_224628.jpg

Only one word to describe finding that sticking out of the trash ...

Unreal.

folks,

I just bought and downloaded some videos on Chen Tai Chi performed by this 7th Dan Black Belt.

I refuse to learn any martial arts from anyone below 6th Dan Black Belt. The way I figure it is if the instructor is good enough to kill me with his skills hopefully he can keep me from getting killed......:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
