Just another Detecting day, this area close to Santa Isabel river used to be a town in late 1600. Now we can see just some walls of those houses in the middle of nothing.

These findings are from my friends, this adventure I just find small pieces of cooper.

You have such interesting settings to detect, and there's always good things out there.

Great finds and an historic looking area.
As a side note:
The guy on the coin (with the hole in it) looks like Hulk Hogan. ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ˜‚ from now on I will refer to this coin as a Hulk Hogan . LOL

What a cool looking old site - congrats on the great finds !

Great finds, as usual !!
The big coin is 1 peso, silver (.500 fine) 14 grams that shows the head of Morelos (a leader in the Independence movement). 61.4M coins were minted in 1947--from the series 1947-1949. The '49 is the rarest, but also the most counterfeited.

GREAT FINDS Jorgeke thank you for sharing with us buddy :) Are you trying to get me to come down there and hunt with you ?

The design on your 1/8 real (in copper) was issued in only one year (1855) although a similar, but not identical, design was also on the 1/8 real coins of 1833 and 1834 . Your legend reads: ESTADO DE CHIHUAHUA, versus the earlier coin's legend reading ESTADO SOBERANO DE CHIHUAHUA.
Keep swinging and post great pics of the area--and the coins.

Your 1 cent (centavo) bronze, 3 grams coin is from the series 1905 through 1949. In 1905 the currency reform changed the Mexican coin system in many ways. All the Mexican branch mints were closed in 1905. and the legend REPUBLIC MEXICANA was changed to ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The mintage on your coin was 12.4M. Oddly, 50,000 of the 1906 coins were struck in England.

Can you post a pic of the 4th coin, the one with a 'V' and crown?
Initially, it reminds me of a cob coin from the reign of Felipe V.
